Cambridge 'NearCut' sugar bowl. Made by Cambridge Glass Co. around the early 1900's. I don't know what the pattern is called, or the number Cambridge gave it. The pattern consists of a large hobstar, files, fans, and tiny flowers in an oval-type of shape. The rim has a
sawtooth edge. The base is polished. The handles are plain. There is a scratch
on one handle, and a strawmark on the inside bottom. The words 'Near Cut', in raised letters, are on the inside bottom also. There is a 42 uneven rayed sunburst on the base.
3 7/8" high, 3 1/2" wide, 6 1/4" wide from handle to handle.
